Carbon Road International | Warm congratulations! The first Large-Scale Solar (LSS) ground-mounted photovoltaic project invested and constructed by the group in Malaysia has successfully achieved full capacity connection to grid!

In recent years, under the ambition of active participation to the national "Belt and Road Initiative", Weidun Holding Group has continuously enhanced the concept of green, low-carbon and sustainable, implemented the "double carbon" objective, and entrusted on the group's advantages in the field of clean energy, advancing from regional cooperation to international cooperation, expansion from energy resources to energy technology cooperation, and constantly increasing the depth and breadth of cooperation.

The LSS Photovoltaic Project is located in Selangor, Malaysia, with an installed capacity of 19MWp and an area of approximately 70 acres. It adopts a full capacity grid-connected consumption mode. The project is a collaboration between Weidun Holdings Group and local energy company in Malaysia, which comprehensively opens up the path in accelerating the high-quality development of overseas renewable energy business from multiple perspectives such as management innovation, model innovation, business innovation and collaborative innovation.

Upon project completion, it will inject 33 million kWh of green electricity into the Malaysian National grid every year, saving about 11500 tons of standard coal per year and reducing carbon emissions by about 31000 tons per year. The successful grid connection of this project marks a significant strategic opportunity for the overseas renewable energy project of Weidun Holdings Group to enhance its international competitive advantage and promote the development of green energy.
